this was v fun– it’s been a VERY long time since I’ve drawn any MLP fanart. or, rly, any equine art in general; I forgot how fun equine chests are 0v0

also, it’s incredible that this is my first fanart for HB. so many birb boyfriends to use as excuses for drawing birds, and I haven’t drawn ANY of ‘em! SHAME. at least this includes one of my faves (too bad his most distinguishing feature is covered by Engie’s mane WHOOPS). also I was worried abt making Anghel balance his cross on his feathers like he does in some of his pics, then I was like OH WAIT, UNICORN COMPANION, who needs to pretend flight feathers work like fingers when u have MAGIC
